Storyline
Katti Batti is an anti-love story starring Imran Khan as Madhav Kabra (Maddy) & Kangana Ranaut as Payal. Maddy is an architect who is in love with Payal because of her attitude towards life. Nikhil Advani's romantic-comedy flick with Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut. I just went for Kangana, and I also wondering why she had done this type of film after Queen & TWMR. But, after watching, I have no issues with her and I believe that she had taken a good decision while doing this film. Surprise package is the hero, Imran Khan. No doubt, still he has to do natural acting. But, he is looking charming and perfectly suitable for this role. His chemistry with anyone looks perfect. Kangana and Imran look a suitable couple as per the script. Though, I still believe that in some of the emotional scenes, Imran could have been done better. Time pass love, which becomes a serious one and then one sided love, break-up, then marriage with another - these are the things we can find out in this movie, as those are typical phases inn a romantic comedy. But, above these, you can't miss the emotional climax, who connects you to all the previous phases. Pre-interval part is slow, with some party songs, may be I can say emotionless. Post interval part is somehow comedy, sorrowful, with sad songs and emotional climax. Nikhil has made not an award winning movie, but, yet a good watch with friends, groups & loved ones. Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy have given a good music album. Sarfira is perfect in the theater sound. Kissiyan is a fun to watch, amazingly choreographed. Sau Ansu and Ove Janiya are my favorites and describe the movie very well. Lyrics by Kumaar is cool. The whole hostel scene, including Devdas play, is a great fun. The bike ride to the library is also fine. You can't sit steady without laughing while watching the boat act in marriage. So, on the whole, you will enjoy this for sure. Kangana has always shown something new, you can watch that in the climax. For Imran lovers and haters, go and watch him. Without any expectations, you will get sometimes satisfaction!Trailer
