The Buzz: We've always thought there could be an emperor's new clothes situation going on if we ever poked behind Arcade Fire's curtains, and that seems to be the case based on the initial reviews of the documentary they created with Kahlil Joseph, the music video director known for stretching the boundaries of the art form.
No one familiar with the band would ever deny their humanitarian commitment to Haiti - nor should anyone disrespect it - but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't a bit painful to watch the band perform in the commune of Jacmel, according to an ardent fan and critic.
